Ocean City's 14-1 record entering the final week before the NJSIAA Feb. 3 deadline puts them squarely atop the 12-14 teams that will make up the tournament field.
The Raiders are assured of being no lower than No. 2 in the seeding and will be No. 1 unless they lose all three gamesthis week. They play at Hammonton on Tuesday, host Vineland on Thursday and host Highland on Saturday. Only Highland would seem to have a chance to contest OC, and that is a slim chance.
Five CAL teams are on the bubble, needing wins this week to qualify. They are Atlantic City, Pleasantville, Bridgeton, Buena and Wildwood Catholic.
