OCHS girls clinch No. 1 seed in Group 3
Ocean City defeated Hammonton, 54-23, in girls basketball tonight. The victory, the seventh straight for the Raiders, assured OCHS of the No. 1 seed in the NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament.
Nancy White scored 10 points as Ocean City opened a 26-6 lead at halftime. Taylor Vanderslice added nine with Casey Beyel scoring eight.
As the top seed, Paul Baruffi's team is assured of not playing any other team on its home court throughout the tournament.
