We all know basketball players who have won a three-point shooting contest.

There have undoubtedly been players who have won two of them in one day.

But has there ever been a player who has won THREE in one day??

Ocean City High School senior Trey Severs did today.

First, he won the three-point shootout at the Carino All Star Game in Camden during the afternoon, making 16 shots from behind the arc in 45 seconds.

Then, in the shooting contest before the Ocean City Home Bank Dixie Howell Memorial Classic, Severs made 18 of 30 shots to finish tied with Mainland's Greg Gillespie. Then he beat Gillespie, 11-6, in the tiebreaker shootout.

But he wasn't finished.
 
At halftime of the Dixie Classic, Severs made 12 of 15 three-pointers to defeat the girls champion, Caitlin Ambrose of Sacred Heart, who made eight.

Three three-point contests in one day. And three victories.

It was quite a Saturday for Trey Severs.
