Recent Ocean City High School Graduate Added to Barons Roster
Mike Mousaw, who graduated in June from Ocean City High School and will attend Philadelphia University in the fall, is one of five South Jersey high school players added to the Ocean City Barons' roster for the upcoming playoffs.
The others were Hollis Irvine from Cumberland Regional, Stephen Macurdy of Rancocas Valley, Drew Von Bargen of Shawnee and Brad Franks of Shawnee.
Mousaw was selected to the first team, all-conference last fall for the second straight season in soccer. He led the Raiders with 11 assists this year and was second with 11 goals. He was named first team, All-South Jersey by the Courier-Post, along with Macurdy, Von Bargen and Franks.
The second place Barons are scheduled to play tonight in Reading PA and will face first place Hampton Roads on Sunday night at Carey Stadium. The team will open in the playoffs on July 27 at Carey Stadium.
