No Surprise - Ocean City Boys Soccer Ranked No. 1 in South Jersey

When Ocean City High School's boys soccer team won the Coaches Invitational Tournament with four straight 1-0 shutout wins, only one thing could have kept them from being ranked No. 1 in South Jersey at the end of the season - failing to win the South Jersey Group 3 championship.

Well, Mike Pellegrino's Raiders won that Group 3 title and moved into the state championship game with a chance of becoming the school's second undefeated team. A great shot by Ramapo's Ron Santiniello ended that dream but this week the Courier-Post ranked OCHS No. 1 in the final rankings.
